People aren't interested in getting out of this mess....people are just interested in getting things redistriubted their way.....that was the lesson from the election last night!

I don't give a shit about other people getting out of the mess, I just want to make sure I don't fall into it and I get more!

Choom's right. Nobody will be working together. They are only in it for what they can get from the government. And the government is all too willing to give it, because that is now how they stay in power. I don't know if there is any way to get out of it. Dependent voters are dependable voters.

Who is going to work for anything if the government is going to come take it, telling them "You didn't build that"?

That's our country now. The feeling is, "As long as I get mine, to hell with you." That's the liberal mindset. The conservative and liberatian mindset has always been, "I want what you have, so I am going to work and provide something you need, at a price you can afford, so you will give it to me."

But if you do that too well, the government will come take it from you, without providing value, so someone who doesn't want to work can have it without cost to them.

That's not America. Sorry, but it truly isn't.

You guys don't get it at all and this is why Obama won.

I voted for Obama. I'M NOT LOOKING FOR ANYTHING FROM THE GOVERNMENT.

I don't want an Obama phone, I have my own phone.
I don't want a check from the government, I work for my checks
I'm not on welfare.
I'm not on medicare or medicaid.

The republicans and others are going to continue to lose until they realize the real reason Obama won.

He won because the key electorate does not want what the Republican or Libertarian platform is selling!!

Taking away abortion, planned parenthood, choice does not sell to the key electorate
Cutting things like PBS does not sell to the key electorate
Huge unnecessary military spending does not sell to the key electorate.
Tax cuts for the rich does not sell to the key electorate

You guys really don't get it, and that's exactly why Obama won.

we live in a divided country. PERIOD.

the right ignores that concept, the left doesnt.

the romney campaign played to the sector the right always plays to

the Obama campaign played to every sector and produced more votes

the GOP got "OUT POLITIC'D"

end of story

I know you probably made some decisions you regretted while drowning in sorrow from your loss. Just dunk it in some rubbing alcohol, take two aspirin and take a nap. It's gonna be okay?

So when do you plan on relocating from this blasphemous country hell bent on destruction? Send me a post card!

Out of control spending? where were you during the Bush years? that was out of control. We're coming out of a major recesson, deficits are to be expected. The deficit from bush's last budget was 1.2 trillion. about the same as the current ones. You should have been complaining during the Reagan, and both bush administrations. We pay $600 billion,15% of the budget, in interest on the debt they left us. Tell me how the trillions spent in Iraq and afghanistan was a wise allocation of resources. Tell me how taking a $250 billion surplus and turning it into $1.2 trillion deficit is fiscally conservative.
