During the 2010 mid-terms the GOP campaigned fiercely on the platform of job creation and, as a result of such promises, the GOP gained the majority in the House of Representatives. As new Speaker of the House, John Boehner made the welcome claim that the primary goal of the Republican Party was to increase employment in the U.S.

His exact words were: "We're going to have a relentless focus on creating jobs."

By the way, the jobs numbers are increasing and have been since two months after Obama was inaugurated. He took office during a collapse that was bigger than any recession we'd had since the 1929 crash! The stock market had its biggest one day loss in September of 2008 while Bush was still in office! The people YOU are touting to retake the reins of government CHARGED two wars with no revenue to pay for them and allowed the deregulation of banks and investment brokers to kill the rest of the economy.

Where do you buy your MORON injections?
Steve you need to quit reading my posts, its causing you stress. There are alot of reasons the economy sucks and frankly i am concerned that you libs refuse to understand the complete picture ! My apologies for not meeting your high standards on English , grammar, punctuation , or composition.

When Obama took office in January 2009, unemployment was 7.8%.

Odumbo, et al, promised he would reduce unemployment to 5.2%.

When the 112 Congress opened for business in 2011, unemployment was 9%.

The unemployment numbers today are 7.9%.

Just an FYI, CBJ7.

Obaminable is a worthless piece of crap as a President, but Congress is worse?

I will give Obaminable this on improving the economy .. according to Obaminable ..

When he took over gas was about a buck-eighty for reg. unleaded and now its around three and quarter a gallon .... which according to him means that the economy is getting almost 2x better than it was when he took over .....
.... because ...

according to him when the economy is shitty gasoline prices are lower!!!!

Have you noticed the price of gallon has been dropping lately?

Save the GOP crap ..

... its your guy that's doing all the talking and bullshitting.

yeah well recessions have a funny way of lowering demand and lowering prices of gas ... just like oil was 24$ a barrel when Bush took office and went to almost 150 before he left office ... it was Obies fault

everyone gets it LL

Just like with politics, your failure to pay attention to English shows you are a LIV.

I don't pay attention to Low Information Voters or the tripe they broadcast.

You are such a Moron, you can't make up your mind whether it is one space or none before or after a comma.

You could teach Barleybrains' victims/students English and they'd be no worse off than getting it from Barleybrains.

You're on a SHMB with a handle like "steamyromance"? LMAO! Romance? Really? You are delusional in that category, too!

I think i apologized for not meeting your required writing standards. You then come back with more insults. You are so fucking brilliant ! I would venture a guess your arm gives you a lot of problems patting yourself on the back all day long. No doubt you are convinced you are the smartest guy in the room. Good luck with that.

It's gonna be a tight race and I don't care who wins.
I will take care of myself. No president needed for that.
