There are several places off Harry Hines that will sticker a bicycle. Just have your cash out.

There's up to 12 monitors that need to be run, depending on the car. In the state if Texas, you have to have all but one monitor completed and passed to be able to pass inspection, beyond safety reasons.

Generally the last monitor to run is Evap so your O2 monitor would run before that, if the problem is with the O2 censor, the light can come back on before you're able to pass your inspection.

Correct, You can pass with one faulty sensor/issue for vehicles that are 2000 and newer and two faulty sensor/issue for 1999 and under.

I would just fix whats wrong (but im a mechanic) Auto zone will not clear the codes for you, Its illegal and they can get fined huge if caught. Get the codes and post them up, Same model cars usually have the same issues. Post up the year and model and codes. Maybe I can help.

As a note on my car, there were no codes present at the time of inspection, just 3 not ready errors. I had just reset the computers on my first trip, so that is why I initially failed with 6 not ready errors. I am about to give it one more go to see if any of the last 3 not ready codes has cleared. I would fix something if I knew what to fix, but with no codes, nowhere to turn on that.

Fet-

I did get your email about the make and model. That's a tricky breed, regardless of the year... I had to delete my inbox to make room and accidentally deleted yours as well, but my best advice (I know a little something something about this) is to try to find the actual problem and resolve it. It's prob gonna cost a bit but tring to et around it in your case is probably unlikely and finding a place to just give it these days is hard. They have cracked down on SInspectors and even the dealerships are regulated much more than before.

Maybe try emailing BigLatin and see if he can help you a little more with your make and model. Im not so great with those foreign types. Also- are you taking it to a shop or the dealership?

Do not disconnect battery or "clear codes". You will fail the the inspection until all but one of the readiness monitors are set back to ready. The usual advice of driving the car more works for 99% of cars. Each car has specific criteria to complete the drive cycle. You can google the info or call the dealership for the criteria for your year, make, model. Very experienced, licensed state inspector here. If you ask an inspector to check the readiness status, most will do free of charge before doing the inspection.

I can get them for $100 without the need to take your car any place. It takes about 3 days turn around from request to sticker in hand. That said, I wouldn't do this for just anyone. You'll need some history or vouching for here before I would consider it.

Several small shops in grand prairie will pass you. Just try one out and tell them you new help getting it passed. They'll help you out. Prices range for 80 to 120. I went to the one on great southwest and Jefferson. Took 15 minutes
