Is this NY City?

I thought many times about building a hotel in Midland
because hotels are always booked. Comfort Inn
charging 250? Is this NY City? What do you investors think?

I spoke to a guy in Lubbock who has friends building a microtel and the figures shows that they will recoup all their investment in 18 months. Downside is when the present oil boom disappears for a while, your hotel will be empty, and rates will go back to 65/night. It is a get in now and make your money and be prepared for the lulls in between.....just my thoughts. I grew up in Florida and saw this happen to the Orlando area in the 70's and have been through several ups and downs here in NYC and room rates.

Yeah it's crazy. When I was in middle of trying to get a very nice room online, barely seconds later someone else booked it. It's hard to plan in advance along with other tours. Lol 45Colt. My arm is straight.

Wow I am just blown away with where I am having to stay even on priceline I got one of the dingiest hotels I have ever stayed in for $170 a night.

Ain't that right! I read the reviews for this hotel and came prepared....two scentsys and two glade plug ins lol. The oil guys sure know how to leave a stink a room....although I love me some rough necks.....hell what am I saying I love ALL men ))))

During the recent weeks, when I had to work down that area at two days at time. I had to sleep in my car at the truckstop, and spend $5 and get a shower there. Even the nearby towns are booked up.

I am sure that is the case just don't when or if I will ever make my way out there to EP.....Tex you are a braver person than I.....as I stated I am not a high maintenance girl by any means...but I just don't know if I could do those truck stop showers....guess I would if I had to lol
