So search out providers who are 'Newbie' friendly, visit with them, and then they should give you a vouch for other providers.

Newb-friendly ladies, or you can also sign up on P411 and a lot of ladies feel more comfortable with that for newbs (I am one of them. )

It's vicious like the credit cycle but once you become established, you're good. Many ladies offer alternate screening.
