Ok, lets not all panic from rn's post. I saw Cherry at the beginning of Feb. and did not catch anything from her. To be honest there are sometimes no symptom's from Chlamidia but it is not transmitted easily via unprotected oral. Plus, how do we know that the OP has narrowed down patient zero to Cherry? Ranger, I’m just passing along information to the community. And for anyone wondering that would be 200 mg of Doxy per day for 7 days or 1 gram (1000 mg) of Azithromycin one time. I keep anti-biotics (and have both) so I dosed myself 1 gram of Azithromycin just to be sure. I too have no symptoms. Advice on the internet is conflicting. Alot of sites say transmission rate is 20-30% for unprotected penile-vaginal sex and almost nothing 0-1% for a penis receiving oral sex. Others say that it is just a very low rate via oral and that the bacterium doesn't really transmit orally as it is just built for genital on genital contact. Hope this helps.
