Ladies, are you noticing that biz is very slow here? (or is it me?) and if i may ask... what site brings u the most biz?
I am not trying to start anything, I am just noticing the differences.

and guys, do you tend to go to other sites and the reason?

I think it's just been hard to find the time to hobby. Between working and paying bills it's hard to find the right mix of free time and extra funds to play with. Personally for me I hardly have the time. If I'm not working I'm at home with the s.o. Or when I am working it's ling hours or out of state which still affords no time. I guess its just tough for everyone right now.

I don't know any other sites that are much different than this one. They're usually the same ladies and same fees. I tend to believe that some fellas are hitting mocospace pretty hard right now. To be brutally honest guys can get services on for $20 or free that they'd otherwise pay more for.

But don't sink to mocospace levels dear; or else you might be ending your sentences in txt talk, 4 relz and crap like that.

I only see ladies from this site. Too much to risk by taking chances on other sites. I always look for connection, great service & value. times are a little harder these days

When I got the urge, no cash and/or no time and almost always got the urge.

Reading the MOCO reviews it does seem to being hit pretty hard.

Low fee + High availability = more opportunity; yet as stated in other posts, also higher risks for rip-off, disease, LE.

I can only imagine the effect it's having on the ladies here.

It's probably the same effect that CL and BP had for the providers that only posted on the more established sites.

I am also wondering if the preponderance of web cams or virtual sex has had on traditional providers.

This morning in Yahoo News I read about a 20 yr veteran actress that had seen a significant decrease in opportunities due to changing due to changing TV and movie requirements, so is trying to create her own opportunity by producing a 'web' series loosely based on her life. I suppose we will see how this goes.

The reason I bring this up under purview of your question, I have asked some of the ladies if they were also going the webcam girl route.

I did notice one of our recent to SA members has in her signature block that she is on webcam daily, however, as she has asked the similar question about an industry slowdown, the webcam market may be flooded and does not present viable cash flow.

I don't know of further diversafication within this industry that could consistently become a revenue generator.

On CL at one time, there was a couple that booked in person, live sex shows for $$ an hour or so, but again a limited market potential

Bottom line - yep it appears to be slow and will only get slower as the holiday season approaches.

Sorry to be the bearer of news for another industry depression.

It's a sign of the times Ms. Love. Money very scarce right now. Besides, I've been luckier in the civilian market lately too! Those two things have combined to make me not play in this playground I'm afraid, something I hope to remedy within the next week or so with a certain lovely lady on this board.

I travel all over the South Central US and have found that in general the hobby is just slow. The phrase,"It is the economy stupid" holds true for the hobby now. I find that many places that I travel, don't use ECCIE and so I have found P411 works the best for me while traveling.

There is alot of website on eccie that you can go to and post adds. GO to the adds on the homepage of eccie and you will difnt websites.

Yup, times are tough. I'd also note that the number of Showcases listed for San Antonio is larger than it has been in times past. How many of those ladies a active is another issue, but the overall numbers are up.

I think it's just the overall economy. I know I don't have the funds I had a couple years ago so I'm more discriminating on who I see. Also, because times are tough there is a LOT of young talent/competition coming into the hobby probably because they can't get decent civie jobs. Also, as Marcus said above, I'm having much more luck in the civie market these days. Once again, I think the young GUYS are also having a hard time finding decent jobs and therefore, some of us more established gentlemen are looking more appealing to the younger ladies than the guys they would normally be into.

I guess what I'm saying is what others are saying as well, it's just the economy.
