Default Possible virus

When I just visited the site my protection software informed me of this file:

Exploit.HTML.HCP.a(v)

It's saying it's an exploitation file allowing others to get access to a computer. I hope it's just a glitch since I've never had this message and was on just last night, but thought I'd put the message out.

Hi,

Mine hasn't produced that warning, yet but I've been wondering lately...thanks!

Exploit

An Exploit is software or code that targets security vulnerabilities, usually in the operating system or browser, but may also target vulnerabilities in other programs. Exploits are typically used to install malicious software on the victim's computer without the victim's knowledge or consent. An Exploit may be used to install malware that gives the attacker complete access to and control of the affected computer from a remote location.

Yeah, my S/O runs his off Linux so he's not getting it either, but if he logs into his virtual Windows it pops up. I'll make him fix it... for a fee.. lol.

URL: bluebooze.ru/Webmaster.js <~~~~ That is the name of the virus/threat.

Is everyone who gets this message using AVG?

If not, what antivirus are you using?

I've seen other websites have similar alerts and it was due to the banner ads linking to sites that were classified as bad by AVG. Sometimes the banner ad site or server had sold links at one time to someone who was either evil or hacked by someone evil.

i.e. Eccie sells a banner ad to BillyBobsEscortIndex.com. (BBE) BBE either has bad stuff on its site or had bad stuff on his site at one time that caused his site to be listed by AVG. Or BBE has a banner ad on his site that links to a bad site.

Or there's a flash animation in the banner ad that links to bad stuff. (Have I mentioned lately that flash is the work of the devil? )

I'm running ESET NOD32 antivirus, and am getting the same bluebooze.ru/webmaster.js alert.
