Default Is Harry Reid a Hypocrite, or is this much ado about nothing?

http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/04/politi...SS%3A+Politics)

One thing is for sure, it's bad timing.

The President is out there putting forth a maximum blitz selling Obama Care, and one of his biggest supporters pulls what is at best a bad PR move.

It will be a great campaign ad for 2014. For the Republicans.

wonder if it will spill over into the Republican rank and file too ?

if by chance it does, that's hypocrisy, or are they following the law too?

Capitol Hill collectively exhaled yesterday, when it came out that the U.S. Office of Personnel Management would allow members and their staffs to keep their insurance subsidies.

More of the same old " do as I say and not as I do" mentality that plagues the entire Washington establishment.

I don’t care what the answer is,” fumed Sen. Tom Coburn (R., Okla.). “Give us an answer so that if we want to do a legislative fix to take care of the people who actually work for us,” we can. “I mean, they’re going to be the only set of federal employees that actually get paid by the federal government that have to go into the exchange. [OPM knows] the answer—they just won’t share it. And I want time to legislate on it before we lose half our staff..

I don't think you understand what the word hypocrisy means. Not one single republican voted for Obamacare. They may not obey the law (that they say is unconstitutional) but they have the moral high ground to not obey it. Only the democrats can be hypocritical on this.

since when are we talking about who voted for ACA? I quoted the article and the republican from Oklahoma was all for his staff receiving subsidies same as Reid. They are taking advantage of the law you moron..

Republicans voted against the law, and are now taking advantage of the same law ... of course you don't see the hypocrisy, you're an idiot.

To only accuse Harry of being a hypocrite stops way short of reality.

He used his position as Senate Majority Leader to spread information about Candidate Romney that were either lies or misappropriated information from the IRS. Unfortunately he was knowingly fully protected by Congressional rules. It was at the least highly unethical.
