Walking back to my truck from hanging out with some friends Saturday night, I was jumped by at least 2 guys about a block from 35 at an alley behind a gas station between 6th and 7th.

I got hit from behind in the back of the head before i ever saw anyone, then proceeded to get the most thorough beating i can remember. I have a broken nose, a cracked rib, and my knee is pretty badly hurt but not broken.

The kicked me in the face and head a LOT and several good times to the ribs and chest. They then took my wallet and cell phone before they ran off.

Shockingly, the left my high end custom pocket knife and my $400 watch... Depressingly, my wallet had the $300 in it that was earmarked for hobbying this week, but I'm currently kinda messed up looking and won't be able to hobby without scaring the crap out of my provider for a few weeks so i guess that's a wash.

I spent 14 hours in the hospital while they did X-rays and a CT Scan. No concussion, but they told me my face was going to look worse before it got better. To add insult to injury (this was awesome) i didn't have a cell phone to call anyone, so i decided to walk back to my truck (about 16 blocks away) but when i got there, oh joy, my truck had been towed because my meter ran out. So with no money, no credit cards, no phone, and no ride, i begged some nice guy to let me use his cell and eventually got one of the few friends who's phone numbers i realized to come get me and drive me home

All in all, not an amazing day ... i'm down about $900 between what was in my wallet, the cost of the tow, and my new phone.

Glad it sounds like you're going to be ok in the long run. Would be great if they got caught and charged with attempted murder for all the head kicks. What absolute cowards and wastes of oxygen...

BAD night to say the least. And the pain only continues with having to cancel CC's, get new DL, new phone, etc.
Glad U R gonna be alright soon though. Best to leave downtown in a group from now on I guess.

And here I assumed when I saw your title; this ass kicking was surely going to be backpage related!

Damn BP, that freakin blows. I could say, "glad your still breathing" but the situation still sucks.

By the way, was this the same night you went to Palazios? Never been to Palazios so am wondering if it happened around that area.

Yep, this was completely unrelated to the earlier trip to the SC.

It really sucks most because not only did i stand up a sweet provider by being in the hospital, but i also have to cancel an appointment with another one who i really like tomorrow because i can't afford it, and i'm WAY to scary looking for any lady

Lol... so true... anyone know a provider out there who digs a guy who looks like he fell face first out of a moving truck?

that blows man. i hate to ask, and you can decline if you want, but can you describe the punks? it might help for anyone down there to know what to look for. i hate to get into race and all that, but maybe at least approx age? anything really...
