ECCIE Appreciation

I am new here and have yet to take the plunge , but i just wanted to say just how appreciative i am of ECCIE and all of you that do your reviews, This place makes a newbie like myself feel a little more at ease when i decide to become a hobbyist, and also gives me a much better chance at a comfortable, informative and fun introduction to the hobby when i take the plunge. Thank you ECCIE and Hobbyist.

If you read enough, you'll see there were other forums before this one --- and there are other places on the internet which apparently create some sense of comfort for people like you and me who don't have any fucking clue what we're doing.

But I'm with you. It's obvious Eccie.net is a special place, with participants who care intensely about the hobby for a vast variety of reasons. I do not want to take it for granted. I am incredibly appreciative for what it has done to help me already.

Been a long time lurker before I started getting active. If you want some advice it's Research, Research, Research. Take the time to read and understand the reviews and showcases. That will go a long way to making your encounters more comfortable for both of you. And, of course, always be a gentleman.
