Keeping pics of providers, UTR's, etc in your laptop... is that a smart thing to do?
I may have some life changes coming up very shortly and have some pics(maybe 10) that I am going to delete for obvious reasons. I know there are plenty of hobbyists who have a plethora of pics. I have always wondered what would happen if I died and my PC was unlocked, etc how people would react to me being a john with pics of hookers, etc. Hell, the same would go for my cell.
Hobbbyists, what do you think? I know in the death scenario it wouldn't matter what is thought of us, we are dead but I think most wouldn't want our loved one finding out our secret.
Providers, what do you think the information your PC's, cells, etc and being found out for being in the hobby?

I don't have anything on my laptop so no worries. I would only worry about my kids in that situation. A father doesn't want to let down his boys, he want's to be someone they can look up too. That's why I don't drink, smoke or do other bad stuff around them and am home every weekend with them. The death thing is a little far fetched though at this point, if I passed I would be more worried about their upbringing without me then anything they found.

When I die I'm certainly not going to know what happens, so what do I care. Have plenty of other things I wouldn't want found either. But I'll be dead how will I know ?

Well a pic is just a pic. Unless they were part of this little community, how would they know that was an Austin gal unless you name the pic "amy - gives great blowjob - 100 bucks - 512-123-4567"
So on the one hand yea shouldn't probably keep those, but on the other hand from someone who routinely does PC forensics work. If I don't find some porn, then it makes me more suspicious of your PC related activity, not less.

Oooo morbidity:::: I got that this was directed towards hobbyists, but I obviously have thought about same thing. Passwords on everything!!! Delete nightly. And when I'm dead, I hope they don't care too much to dig deep. Lol. Any pics of myself are in a very secret locked up chamber lol. Although fam. Pretty much knows I'm affiliated. Not directly, but that I am/ or was affiliated. So it wouldn't be too much of a shock for vague pics. As far as history of eccie, they'll never know. I'm super careful.

Look into a program called TrueCrypt. You create an encrypted volume that looks like a hard drive, but the contents can only be seen when you enter a password. Don't tell anyone the password, and if anything bad happens to you nobody can get to your stuff, even if they can get on your computer.

If I'm dead, good riddance. i don't have to hear the whispers or endure the icy looks I'd get walking into church. Truth is, I accomplished much more in life than this little blemish. I'd want to be buried with my macbook playing "the motto" by Drake wearing a shirt that says YOLO. I just hope they don't find my epic stash of japanese manga fan fiction and homemade girl on girl porn!!

Flash drives are the bomb!
I once, (lucky for me) had a previous year bf, whose wife wanted a divorce. When she went thru his pc, it was bad, (thankgod I never sent a pic email or anything) but it was all used in court against a wonderful man (even if he wasn't her dream hubby). Long story short.... I thanked my lucky stars that I never sent any personal files / pics or what-have-you. Lotsa ladies had... I learned from that.
Please bee careful and safe, my hobby friends... (Peace and Love)

FYI....Double backup if you chose to use a Flash Drive...some will lose data easier than a SATA or SSD (disk drive on your 'puter)
Another idea is to burn to a re-writable DVD..a bit more cumbersom, but the images stay crisp...
Or you can take Arlo Guthries example of "27 8X10 colored glossys with circles & arrows & a paragraph on the back of each one....." and cover your walls with chick pics...
Damn, ya gotta be ancient to get that one...lets see how many do....
