I am always very polite in requesting references from providers and even thank them at the end of the email. And if/when they respond, I thank them again and offer my help in any way in the future.

Two days ago I requested a reference via eccie pm from a well-known provider who has still not gotten back with me on the reference. Her last activity on this site - 221pm yesterday.

If you do not provide references for your clients, please state as much on your site and tell your clients not to use you as a reference.

I totaly agree I have sent 4 different providers a request for a a refrence in the past 2 days with no response what so ever!

It's an unfortunate deal for both the provider and hobbyist. I firmly believe that the economy has a lot to play with ladies offerring up references. This business has somewhat become a cut throat business because the hobbyist isn't hobbying as much as they used too. So when the hobbyist doesn't hobby as much, then the ladies are going to try to keep there regulars to themselves and not let that money go if they can help it.

The bad thing is .. the provider in question for me is in TX.. I'm in OK. Her client was here visiting. He wasn't 'cheating' on her in her hometown. LOL

This is seeming to be a trend where several girls will not respond or if they do they get pissed at the client for making the choice to try someone new. This is a business and we should all be Pros here. References protect US the girls and the clients. It is the clients choice whom he see and when they hear you wont give them a reference then tend to frown on seeing you again. Play Safe and Have Fun!!

So let me ask this question. If I as a client want to see you and I offer up several names for a reference and none of the ladies reply back, will you still see me even though you couldn't verify my reference? This is kinda important b/c if you won't see me b/c through no fault of mine that a provider doesn't respond, then it is very unfair to me as a client. I've given you the names. I can't help if they don't respond. BTW, I always ask if it is okay to use a lady as a reference. I've never been denied. For us guys, maybe we need to amend our reviews. If a lady doesn't respond to a reference request, maybe we go back and downgrade the TCB portion of the review.

It would still be nice to get the reference back for my own peace of mind.

Thankfully one of his references did get back with me and gave him a glowing recommendation and then I screened him on my own.

It wasn't his fault at all that she didn't get back, but I made sure to let him know that she will not return an email for a reference so he can remember that in the future, plus I am keeping a mental list myself for if she ever contacts me for a reference.

LOL I just got my ass chewed out by someone responding 2 days later to a reference request.

Which is not as bad as response to a reference request I received literally a YEAR later. I am like .. hmmmm ... this ship has sailed

I agree, it is quite a nuisance for a gentlemen to give me his references and have them go unanswered. I even had a girl tell me one day (after calling and texting a few times trying to get the ref) Oh, I don't give references and I had one "I don't remember" even though he says he saw her less than two months ago. There's a difference between "i dont remember if we ever met" and "he's using me as a fake reference, I've never met this guy". I think that we should all place more importance on each other's safety. We're not just escorts, we're someone's daughter, mother, sister or friend. Business might be tough, but that's no excuse to lose all compassion.

I don't understand providers who aren't reference friendly . Aren't we supposed to be looking out for each other? Conversely, what might be acceptable to one girl may not be to another. I've had a handful of VERY rude girls who were not reference friendly even though they had offered to use their name to their client to use as a reference. Some of them sounded like they were on drugs or just really resentful that I called. And I love the lack of manners. I always thank ladies for providing me with a reference. Some don't.

I haven't run into that problem of a provider not giving a reference, but if I ever found out that a provider wouldn't give or get back to someone asking for a reference, I would never see them again and I would never recomend them to anyone else either...A provider's safety should always come first and one way to insure a provider's saftey is with a referal that is either good or bad....The client should not have to be subjected to a selfish provider. This is a hobby and not an exclusive for a selfish hording provider.....ijs

I think this happens so much in the hobby. Putting people on that mental list of non-reference friendly. I think most providers see another provider as competition, just the sad truth of it...

It has happened to me as well with no response for reference requests.
I get it that some providers are not reference friendly I have no issue with that but just say"Hey,I am not reference friendly".That is a lot better than just ignoring a person.

I had gent use two providers as references one responded the other one never responded back to me.But,she did contact the gent and offer a very big discount to see her instead of me.When I saw the gent he told me what the second provider did IMO not cool!I am reference friendly as long as the provider gives me some kind of info about who she is links to her website,ad,P411 profile.I have gotten reference requests from providers who have provided no info at all which is frustrating why do I have to research who a provider is before giving out a reference.

I think most of us has gone through not getting a response from providers.When this happens I just ask for other info to verify.I wonder if some of these providers do not answer purposefully so the gent can then see them instead.
