Trump having trouble making tariff deals
"Trump had a ‘test case’ for trade negotiations with Japan. The failure to reach a deal now has analysts wondering if any will be signed
Despite early White House signals suggesting a trade deal with Japan was imminent, negotiations in Washington, D.C., ended without an agreement
Ryosei Akazawa, Japan‘s economic revitalization minister, has gone home without an agreement in place telling local media he had urged the Americans to reconsider their “extremely regrettable” action.
Moreover, Japan’s prime minister said only yesterday he still has “grave concerns” about some of the policies announced by the Oval Office."

ALL the other tariff deals that are doing well in negotiation??

i don't think Trump even knows what he wants in his deals, which means the counterparties are basically negotiating with jello..
// right tx-dot, or he'll find a scapegoat to blame for his own failures, like Fed Chief Powell..

When did everyone start believing that Trump is some kind of great negotiator? You’re looking at decades of his own press releases and his own book that says so. That’s one of the reasons he had his own TV show. I think he’s just been drinking his own kool-aid for too long.
One thing for certain is that he will claim it’s a great success despite what happens or what the side effects of his actions are.

The tale of the tape
If'n I take off my shoe and socks, whe are up to 75 countries sitting, lined up neatly, to get a seat at the table and 18 have already inked a deal, which will lower prices for actual Americans and produce >> $8T investment in USA businesses, which will employ Americans.
And that sux because why?!?

This is what happens when you punch a dipshit bully in the throat and tell him to "fuck off". China is as scared of Trump's stupid ass as Putin is. Having said that, I am glad his billionaire buddies convinced dumb dumb to stand down like he should have in the 1st place.
Trump is quite the negotiator. China was probably like, "how about we agree to nothing, fat boy and you lower your tariffs unless you want to ruin your economy even further?" WINNING! LOL
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/live/...191201492.html
Wall Street eyed signs of progress on key trade fronts Tuesday, as President Trump suggested tariffs on China wouldn't remain at eye-popping levels for the long term and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent hinted at deescalation with Beijing.
"145% is very high, and it won't be that high," Trump told reporters Tuesday afternoon.
He added: "It will come down substantially. It won't be zero. It used to be zero."

That's not standing down. That's called waiting for negotiations. But lefties don't understand that. They just project their weakness and lack of economic knowledge.

^^^ MAGA fantasy reality is funny. Thanks for the laugh.
The real reality is that your great negotiating master had to tuck his tail between his wobbly legs and bend over for a reason. And this time, it was not only for his idol Putin but also for Xi.
China will never have any intention of bowing down to Trump's stupid ass. Some countries have no choice but to do so. China does. Somebody (probably Bessent) he actually listens to obviously convincingly explained that to dumb dumb.

Talk about fantasy^^^^. Constant homosexual rantings about Trump. Telling. More projection of weakness and economic illiteracy. But by all means, stay in your fantasy world as the rest of us move on and up.

Trump is standing down, no doubt about it. He said he was waiting for China to call him.....China never did. Instead, they came up with a better game plan. No idea what this has to do about the left or right. Someone always has to throw that in.
China is playing chess. Trump doesn't know what to do. He can only play the Chicken Little game.
It is better for everyone for the trade war to stop.
