I don't get it

Seriously, I just don't get what people are thinking sometimes. So I had an appointment tonight with a provider to be nameless (kaylen)....sorry couldn't help myself. I called and talked with her, and set it up. She told me to call her when I arrived at her hotel, I did, she said she wasn't there yet and to give her 20 minutes. There was a bar in the hotel, so I thought what the hell I can hang around. Well to make a long story short this went on for an hour. Finally I said f-it and left, as I was pulling out of the garage, I thought I'd give her one last call to see if she at least wanted to reschedule and she didn't even bother picking up. I mean I see that she's had some great reviews here, but why have someone drive to you just to string them along? I mean if she got spooked that it was LE or something, I get that but she kept telling me to give her 20 minutes. At the very least just offer to reschedule. Who knows, maybe something important came up all of the sudden, but I think we all know better. I guess why go through all of the trouble of posting ads, etc. just to string potential customers along? You would think she would want to make her customers happy. I'm no econ professor but happy customers = repeat customers which turns in to revenue taken to the n-th degree, which makes the provider sucessful. Am I missing something?

I really considered Kaylen this week because of her good reviews. If I'd picked her, it could've been me she stood up. Sorry it happened to you. She's verified here I think. Maybe she'll read this and get in touch with you and try to make it right.

so a quick follow up on this, I'm guessing Kaylen saw this posting because she had sent me a pm of what seemed like a sincere apology for the mishap. I guess she had some sort of car trouble or something. Still kind of sucks, I would've just explained and offered to reschedule instead of stringing me along, but at least she took the time to pm me and offer an apology. Hopefully I'll be able to set something up with her soon and post a good review.

Bull shit!

Car trouble or "something" doesn't explain the "call me back in 20 minutes" and then no answer at all over the next hour. She no showed on you and you called her out (bravo to you sir). Now were backpedalling and offering lame excuses. I'm glad she apologized (eventually), but the story simply isn't believable.

See her if you want...its your decision and I wish you the best of luck. But I'm tired of the unprofessional behavior exhibited by too many of these young ladies.

Even though it can be hard to do at the time, I have learned to give it at least 24 hours before I react. If she had car trouble she should have let you know, but I suppose it's possible that she could not. At least she got back with you and you still have some extra coin.

Turn the tables around for a minute guys. If that had happened in the "real world" of business, that client of yours wouldn't give you a second thought, he/she/they would find another person to buy from and you'd lose out on the business. Then guess what.....you'd have no one to blame but yourself.

The bottom line is that "customer service" means more than just doing the deed and looking good doing it.
