Default Habits and addictions that interfere with your hobbying..

I personally have an insane addiction for quarter horse racing. frequently when One of my horses loses a race (which happens frequently)I thought he/she could win I tell myself I need to get that horse that won bought and there goes usually another 10,000 to 30,000 plus 150/day for training. Being that I "work" from my computer I often travel to watch my horses race in louisianna and Florida and there goes that much more in travel expenses and of course I bet heavily on my horses when they race and while I'm there I bet on the other races at the track.

I don't need the money and I certainly don't regret spending it playing with race horses, but I do think about how I'd be wasting the money if it wasn't for horse racing.

Does anybody else have real world hobbies that are so addictive it affects your time for this hobby? I'm a sick man and I know it!! Because I'd rather go watch my horses run than have sex. To me sex is only something to do when I can't get to the races!

It is soooo fun, right? I relocated my home base to Las Vegas. I never been
a gambling type of girl but I tell ya sports betting has become one of my
favorite hobby on my down time! Football, basketball, horses whatever...

I certainly don't go overboard but it is a lot of fun!

Im scared of Vegas and won't go! I'd probably lose everything including my underwear to the casinos at the first crap table I find lol!My biggest problem is that I enjoy losing as much as winning its the thrill and the excitement. Win or lose there is nothing better to me than watching a horse I have bred, raised and done the basic training on coming down the track... They are my babies and I get tears in my eyes everytime they race.

I feed some corn year round just cause I like seeing them but I seldom hunt myself. My neighbors that hunt kinda cuss me because the Bucks learned to stay on my place so the last two years I have let them come over and hunt.

My Lear Jet. I spend too much time in it, but I can't help myself. I'm so Vain! I recently flew it halfway around the world up to Nova Scotia, just to see a total eclipse with a wife of a close friend.

B-210???? I drive a 2014 S550 Mercedes and a 2013 ford dually with a flat bed. But If I get truly rich I'm buying a convertible Bentley. Although Until I can throw away that kind of money on a car without flinching I gotta compromise and stay with the Mercedes and ford products.
.
I have to restrain my hobbying as Mercedes wants so much for the Bullshit remediation fragrance my Maybach S600 emits every time it hears bullshit. Dammit! There it goes again!

Stock Trader.

No mules though I once had great spotted Molly mule only 13 hands tall but best ever at sorting cows in the pens bought her for 500 off some Mexicans down in boaquaillas Texas that had swam her across the river. I done traded her to some pen riders at cactus feed yards up in the pan handle for two good cow dogs.

Now I got some bramer/longhorn cross cows with angus sired babies at side that I'd like to trade that are down on a lease in hebronville. They sure is the hardy beasts and the calf raising kind with the added benefit of being theft proof, ain't nobody gonna catch them unless they hire a helicopter 3 or 4 men on horseback with at least one tranquilizer gun between them to dart the ones who are overly obsessed with their freedom.

I'd also like to mention I got some stock in ford (the company is doing great world wide) I'd like to sell you for 14/share your payment is expected now but I won't be able to turn transfer ownership until after Jan 30 so as I can collect the dividend.

(Have your Cowboys bring plenty of piggin strings if you want them cows we had to tie off 17 cows and load them in the field last time we moved them.)

Again? any more and the dead cows that make up for the interior are going to start gagging from the smell.

I hope that the ST's boytoy S550 4.7 living room on rims has this option
"Mercedes Interior Cabin Fragrance Atomizer "
as at over a hundred dollars for a refill (plus $37.50 labor to replace), he should have to sell a couple more of his trained asses to pay for a refill. I am sure they need refilled often with this unusual amount of usage! Just so you're in the know: When you turn it in at the end of the lease, It better not be filled with "Old Spice"

I've been putting off a restoration of a 1975 AMC Gremiln X with a V8 for a few years now. Waiting for the right crop of chicks to dig it..... Might start in on it this spring.... Sitting in the garage with it are some old cases of Falstaff.... How long does that stay good? Got a Moody Blues 8-Track cued up waiting for a battery to get hooked up!

All you dawgs be jealous when it pulls up next to you!

I'm not sure I can break from my more current hobby though...

I would not say my other hobbies interfere or are addictive, they keep life in balance and they make this hobby that much more enjoyable. I do have a strong drive for my other hobbies though!

You breed racehorses? I love horses they are one of my biggest loves. Amazing animals... I know breeding is a lot of work. Why shouldn't you be happy seeing them follow threw with all of that hard work you invested into the.

My main hobby is local music and I go see live music most every day. However since I see clients 10-5 only it leaves evening free for dancing and seeing local music. I take off the whole week of sxsw so i can see music all day and all night. luckily Austin has plenty of shows in the 6pm-midnight time frame and I am not up till 2 am. My other life long hobby does not interfere in any way here.

One of the 50 worst POS cars ever made. Uuuuugleee.

My brother-in-law had one back then. The same time I had a Pontiac GTO. One of the last great "muscle cars". I think he was jealous.
