getting started

I'm new and have tried to get a response from some providers (waited over a week or more), but have been unsuccessful. Maybe because I am new? Don't have any references but want to get something going. Does anyone have any tips on what I should be doing or asking to have a better response rate?

Well Texas, my first piece of advice, if you haven't been doing so already, is to thoroughly search and research this site. There's a pretty good chance that all of the questions that you probably have, have been answered. I firmly believe that if you do your homework, you will be rewarded with what you are looking for. You should also look at some of the more active, friendlier members in your area. They are usually open to PMs and will usually help you down the path of enlightenment.

Also, as Katrina has suggested, put a posting up in the Request / ISO area. I'm sure someone will reach out to you.

As folks in the previous posts have stated, research, research, research. Using this site and a few others, you will be able to see which ladies meet your expectations (or not). Ladies are leery of meeting unverified (i.e. newbies) so you are probably not getting any responses because you have no history or way for them to verify you. IF you decide to hobby, consider a verification service - definitely makes meeting ladies much easier. Ladies such as Dallas Rain are legends. If you are lucky enough to meet her, she will start you on the "highway to hell" from which it is difficult to get off. Do your research - and you will find out. Hobby phone and e-mail address are definite must haves - do your research in the Security portion for more details.
As Pyramider so often states, download porn - cheaper and easier...don't start going down the highway of hell
