So this is the first time I have been back here since my crazy insane close call that happened at the Laquinta last time I was here. Where the guy in the ski mask tried to gey me in the van with the other 2 guys in the van but ended up just stealing my Suit case.
Well I decided that it was just a crazy fluke it could of happened anywhere so I bought me a tazer and just do not go to my trunk at 6 a.m. LOL
So after my 7 a.m. appointment this morning I go to breakfast at the office. I am in a different hotel but same general area the medical center.
I am very alert and on guard though I notice a patrol car kind of parked on the side south front.... I eat go to room then decide to go to walmart it is now 9 a.m. as I get in my car the patrol car swoops around and just posts up behind me. So I am looking like wtf? But a few spaces over were some men loading a car up with suitcases and the officer was just making sure they made it in there car with out problems.
The lady at the front said that a few jackings has happened the last few months.
In the area. I have a call into the investigator that is handling my case but no word yet.
So it is good for the safety but not good for business. They were not here all yesterday or at night only in the early morning so guess that is when the bad guys are attacking people in the early morning. Guess I was not the only victim in the A.M. but glad to see the City taken precautions.

SO tell me dear knowledgable one the best area to stay in Amarillo Texas?

The medical area is a good place to stay if you are at one of the motels that are not right on the interstate.

There are several (newer) great hotels on the west end of the interstate. IMO, Coulter street doesn't have any decent hotels.
