In several years of going to clubs, it seems that more and more that girls are hounding you the second you walk in the door, or when you meet a nice girl, is immediately pushing for VIP and has no desire to do dances. I love VIP with the right girl but lately my situation hasnt allowed it. I've had to dial back my club visits and spend less. I went to BDD last night which is often a guaranteed good time, but the door vultures and pushy behavior just sours the whole thing. I wound up meeting a nice dancer and spent some dance money on her, so it wasn't terrible. But lately Ive had experiences where, for example, the girl pushes for VIP right away, and I politely decline but offer to buy several dances from her. She hesitantly agrees then excuses herself to go to the bathroom and never comes back.

Between the door vultures and deserters it really stains what should be a fun evening out. I dont recall experiencing this, say, 10-15 years ago.

Some of it is the economy--- another part of it is that way back in the day-- the ratio of clean to dirty dancers was about 70:30. These days-- its flipped.... so you have a LOT more girls who are willing to do extras-- meaning they don't want to just "do dances".

And Im not opposed to extras, Ive certainly gotten some. but its been my experience that doing VIP doesn't automatically mean you're getting extras. But yeah, "the economy" as vague as it sounds, affects everything. Having to be really careful with money due to financial issues isn't a good recipe for fun at a club I suppose.

I went to the strip club for the nostalgia fairly recently, and its not the same anymore. It was a Friday night at PT Mens Club, busy night. Straight away the door usher pushed for VIP, I opted to sit around the bar and poach a seat when I had a chance. I hanged around where the girls were standing near the entrance of the lapdance room, looking bored and unavailable. I decided to go for the prettiest one to which she almost immediately responded with a dance package of 200 for 4 songs full nude as her only option to be with her, I said no thank you. After I sat down, a cubana sat down next to me and proposed VIP room " anything I want with her" again no thank you. Then after a while of just looking at the stage with no girls approaching me after that, I decided to leave and keep the rest of my 350 dollars to hobby the next day. I blame Onlyfans and the economy for the inflation on boobs.

I think Tallia has some valid points but it is more than that. Definitely there are more options for extras, but the reality is do you want to do that with half the people offering.

I break it into two problems, and honestly I think the economy has little to do with it. Tic Toc and IG have more to do with it than anything. Look at all the girls on there doing short little 1-2 minute “dances” that are funding a nice lifestyle. I get it, they are all not raking in Alix Earle money, but they make enough that they do not have to really work and they travel and screw around all day. A good portion of the dancers have that attitude. You are going to give me a lot of money and I will not do a whole lot for it or I am not interested in you! All they need honestly is1 score a night and they are set.

The other problem is a lot of the dancers think you owe them something and what they are doing is worth what they see n TV. Do not get me wrong, I think they work for their money but the also feel like they are doing you a favor and should just hand it over to them.

The good thing is not all the ladies are like this. But unfortunately you have to weed through the bad ones to find the good ones. There are some awesome dancers out there, but most of them are awesome and loyal to their regulars that come to see them and they are hard to get to know.

Also, we all miss the good old days of Platinum Club II!

I agree totally. I've been thinking some of the same things but wasn't sure if it was just me that felt that way. Last night felt especially stressful. I walked into BDD and the first thing I get is a waitress trying to guide me to a table (Im just going to the bar) and then pouts immediately when I politely turn her down, and a dancer who latched on to me. That became awkward for a whole other reason when I told her I was waiting for someone and couldnt come up with a name right away. This was before the girl with the "I have to go to the bathroom" excuse. I should've just kept walking right out the door. It just wears me down when I cant walk in and just relax for a few minutes without someone trying to push me into something I don't want. I get that all the time in my real life. I certainly dont want it in the club.

Its like the car salesman who tries to steer you towards the the most expensive car on the lot vs the guy that helps you find what you're looking for. The former I will run away from, the latter I will want to give my business to. Now and in a few years when I buy another car. A lot of these girls don't understand long term thinking.

I think before it was a lot of independent dancers just hustling but now it feels like all these cuban girls are working with a quota.

Ilike69 nailed it. They only need 1 score to make the night profitable and many act like they're doing us a favor instead of completing a business transaction, e.g. money for entertainment. It's not just the clubs either. Go browse through reddit adult/SW forums. The "Doing you a favor" attitude is very prevalent.

Last time I went to a strip club, about 8 years ago, I told a dancer that with all the AMPs, the Dallas strip club scene would lose clients. Why pay a couple of hundred to be teased when you can go to an AMP and get what you want for $200 to $250? I have no urge to return to a strip club and all the drama.
