Nice recap. No need to go all the way to Rosarita, the beach right at the California Mexico border is very nice, with the border wall extending into the ocean and plenty of cheap food and beer. You can take a bus there for pennies. After many trips to TJ, my favorite thing is the table side original Caesars salad at Caesars, I’m glad you didn’t miss it.

I disagree with the beach near the border being nice. The Tijuana River flows into the ocean right on the north side of the border.

Well I wouldn’t swim there, but there are some nice little Oceanside cantinas.
