That's what I kind of said, although there's nothing wrong with the Feds or other communities encouraging immigrants to go where they're most needed and wanted. As best as I can remember, Springfield's unemployment rate has spiked up in recent months, based on something you posted.
As to keeping damn mouths shut, Democrats and Democratic leaning MSM are all over this. MSNBC is anyway. I suspect Fox isn't covering this as much as MSNBC now, although I don't know as I haven't watched much Fox the last week or so. Actually I can't imagine it being otherwise. MSNBC apparently thinks this is a much bigger issue than the economy, Gaza or Ukraine.

Recently it’s been the homeless problem. But there aren’t any politicians out there saying that we should start bussing Californians back to where they came from or banning electric cars.

Yes, many of them left to escape left wing ills they didn't like, just as many Haitians have left their country to escape bad government. State and local politicians in big cities in California and the Northeast however are only mildly crazy and rapacious. "Leaders" in Haiti are bat shit crazy and some literally do rape, and pillage and murder.
I have never proposed busing transplanted Californians back to California, or flying Haitians back to Haiti.
