Default musicians we don't like

It is a matter of taste. Here is a list to start:

Chicago - have a hard time staying listening to the completion of even one song of theirs. don't like the singer's voice, and they always seem to be working too hard

Jackson Brown - does that guy have any talent ?

Bonnie Rait - sounds like a screeching hen, would hate to have her around the house and have to talk to her

Axl Rose. It's a stretch to even call him a musician.
Billy Joel. Music for morons.
Kid Rock. Pure dogshit, musically and personally.

Agree on Chicago - back when they formed, bands would develop their "signature sound" and would plant it into all their songs. Which made their songs sound pretty much alike in some respect.

Jackson Brown... he has a few songs I like but to me never made it big. Probably a better session guitarist than live.

Bonnie Rait - her and Adele both share that annoying voice.

Axle Rose - `Nuff Said

Spice Girls - lets face it.. they and other girl groups are more eye candy than talent. Even some of the solo girl singers rely too much on their looks than they talent. Beyonce` is one of them.. has a team of writers, musicians etc.. can't hold a candle to someone like Taylor Swift or Debbie Gibson who wrote the lyrics, music and played it as well.

more will come once I think about it.

Which Period of Chicago are you listening to? Check out their first three albums. 80's period I agree with you.

Tejano music always gets the radio station changed for me. Others that cause the same reaction:

"Mickey your so fine"
"You're Having My Baby"
"Macerena"
"Hit Me With Your Best Shot"

too many to list

ALL Rappers (and the "noise" they record).

Yeah, that's painting with a pretty broad brush. I guess I should be more specific but "all" sums it up nicely for me.

The dude playing the triangle solo on the GEICO commercial. He is a hack at the triangle, no talent loser.

Everybody from Spinal Tap.
Every marching band from all white schools.
Kenny G.
Kermit the frog, being green isn't really that hard.

I think I may speak for all of us when I say Nickelback.

I agree with the 99% of anything rap/hip hop related. Not a whole lot of originality or depth out there.

Kanye West
Anyone who won The Voice, Americas Got Talent, or X-Factor.
Adele
....how many are we allowed to list? I'm not sure how much time I have to dedicate to this.

The Black Keys. Sophomoric drivel.

The Ramones. Every song sounds the same. Lame lyrics. The same guitar chord played 65 times in a row.

Anything Rap or Hip Hop. No singing= Not Music.

Nashville Country/ Pop. I'll take Texas Country over any of the current Nashville Crap.
