Default double standards

I know I watch too much John stossel, because I get wierd ideas into my head like this one.
I don't pay taxes to hospitals:
-makes sense, why do I pay if Im not sick?

I pay taxes to schools:
-makes no sense, I have no kids at schools, why am I giving them my money?

why do I pay for public schools, when I have no kids in them and there is a huge lack of ability to control how a school spends its money(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cartel )
yet I don't pay for public hospitals? Because doing that,(as in universal healthcare) causes an uproar and outcry?

Does anyone else think this is a double standard?
If I didnt give money to schools, I'd have more money to see pretty girls who like to swallow.

You don't pay taxes to hospitals due to our tax codes.

You do pay taxes for education, as educated children grow-up to hopefully better our country. Do you want more dumb asses running around? There are only so many jobs for the drop outs already.

You do have a say on how schools spend their money through representation on the local school board. If you don't like how its being spent, vote.

Whom is elected to a school board has more influence on the direction of the nation than most political offices. Think about it - the education of future voters.

Also, most truly public hospitals like Truman receive state funds, so you are paying taxes.

Here's a thought - Why are donations to churches tax deductible and churches are tax exempt, when I don't attend a particular "brand" of religion? Why are political donations tax deductible?

Using that logic, my twenty plus years of paying taxes have been horribly pissed away, why pay more?

I swear there HAVE to be more dumbasses now, or there's just a complete lack of shame in being an idiot.

Why can't I donate money to my neighbor and write that off as a tax deducition? Good question

why are churches exempt from paying taxes, Yes I wonder that as well,

I understand the idea of "religous freedom" and seperation of church/state, but the facts are the churches get all the benifets that come from property taxes, etc, but don't pay them? Doesnt computer

I am addicted to HOuse of Cards, least till that character died, and its all about staying in power, never doing the right thing, doing the right thing means political suicide

http://bobmaconbusiness.com/?p=2080
be it a Republican or Democratic – a leader who proposes actions that are truly the right thing to do is likely embracing political suicide.
