I enjoy the contrast between what Tucker has said publicly vs off air with regard to Trump both as a President and on his handling of the 2020 aftermath.

Tucker would likely lick the sweat off Trumps nuts if he thought it would help keep him relevant but lets take a look at some of his comments shall we:

"Carlson said “we are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights” and that “I truly can’t wait.” this was around a year after the 'HANG MIKE PENCE' event in DC.

"Carlson said he had no doubt there was fraud in the 2020 election, but that Trump and his lawyers had so discredited their case — and media figures like himself — “that it’s infuriating. Absolutely enrages me.”

Shame he didn't use the words 'lawfare' they would sound really cute coming out of his mouth then again these are texts so maybe he was joking anyway?

I think my favorite is this gem:

"Addressing Trump’s four years as president, Carlson said, “We’re all pretending we’ve got a lot to show for it, because admitting what a disaster it’s been is too tough to digest. But come on. There really isn’t an upside to Trump.”

Disaster. Strong words for sure. I do not agree on his assessment here but then again I do spend the vast majority of my time not giving three fucks what Tucker Carlson thinks.
