Yes you can do far more modifications with Firestick than Roku.
My Firestick has the Xanax Kodi 18.5 build which, comes with 'The Crew' and 'Exodus Redux' already included, along with a few other add-ons, including tons of HQ porn...lol
The MP3 Music Stream add-on is great and included in the Xanax build. It has better audio quality and a larger music variety than YouTube. When you find a desired tune, you simple record it as a 320 bit-rate mp3, with any audio recorder, then add it to your appropriate music folder.
With Firestick you can install 'Filelinked' which gives you capability to install 100s of other apps not found in the Firestick app store. You can't do any of this with Roku.
Filelinked offers several free VPNs which work but really slow things down.
Xanax Kodi 18.5 runs but is sluggish on Firestick due to the weak CPU Firestick uses. Found Xanax Kodi 18.5 runs much better installed on a 10 year old laptop hooked up to a HDTV via a simple HDMI cable. This turns your big screen HDTV into a second computer monitor, showing everything you find on the www, onto your HDTV with no loss of video/audio quality!
However found Xanax Kodi 18.5 runs best on a more powerful desktop PC. Thinking about hooking that PC up to the HDTV but it involves running a 50' HDMI cable from PC to HDTV. I would have to run and fish through walls and floors, which can be done but is a real pain in the ass to do.
Yes the entire Gilligan's Island series is available. Also went for Mary Ann and Ginger. Oh and the Dukes of Hazard series is on there to.
