Cell Phones another rant by boomvang
NO MAS. Twice today Plan A and Plan B were not just interrupted the missions were aborted because their phones would not stop and the phones won. One was a mother watching a kid that wouldn't stop screaming. Kids and mothers are important, but the 2nd was a hungry gay lover. I am such a sap that I gave up money each time and never even got to expose myself. It's out of control. I call on clients in their offices for a portion of my profession. I have my phone with me, but if it rings or beeps I know how to turn it off without taking it out of my pocket. It is my personal policy and I think most sales types in my industry, if the phone rings you apologize for the interruption but the client never sees the phone. Business lunch, same thing. If I have an appointment with a client they have my entire attention the entire time we are together. It's just not to much to ask. I have had a few instances where a provider will answer a phone during an appointment and even though it doesn't require they leave right away, they always seem pissed off at the person on the other end and the conversation is heated. Listening to a one sided shouting match makes me so hot. NOT!! Sharing of cars seems to be a huge problem. The WORST one is confirming your next appointment when you are in the middle of mine. I am mostly an out call guy, I live a alone and I'm the most comfortable here, As we all know just because your paranoid does not mean they're not really out to get you. I wouldn't go to a hotel incall for Isabella Rossellini. Apartments or homes don't make me as nervous, but I prefer my house. After today the location of the cell phone will become part of the negotiation. If your life is that volatile, complicated or demanding I would prefer you just come to see me when things have settled down. I'm going to ask that cell phones be left in the car. That's what I do when I go to an incall. And if that's just not possible, my new minimum requirement will be ringer off, in the purse and the purse in another room. Thanks I feel better now.

Haaaaaaaaa...just sayin. I'm a salesman too. If I've got to sit there, look interested, and answer dumb-assed questions from my clients (while givng them my full attention), I expect providers to do the same with me.
But, as salesmen, we know we're all very YMMV.

You're 100% right! Absolutely the cell phone should be turned off from the moment you walk in, until after you walk out.
I would think it goes without saying.
But then again, I've read comments about ladies entertaining while the tv is on, and actually WATCHING the show during the festivities LOL!

boomvang,
You make a very vaild point, it is a big turn-off when the cell phone ruins everything....Outcall is the most comfortable setting that I perfer, for even the lady visiting can reference with others that she is coming to a nice safe location. The second location is her apartment that the lady may have set up and is established or even a 5 star hotel... Going to a motel there are just so many things that can go wrong, at night time is completly out of the question....

I once saw a provider who tooted around 4 mobile phones which she kept on continuously. She needed a switchboard operator in the worst possible way.

Maybe eccie should have a mandatory online lesson with a test at the end to gain verified status. The lesson should go over customer service, screening and common sense hobby wise...lol
I take my occupation seriously and treat it as my own business and that is just not good for business.

Taintit Pyramider, if it wasn't for sluts in sales ECCIE wouldn't exist. Me, a sales slut? I'm not going to deny it. This nut didn't fall from the taint.
