Looking For A DFW Lawyer To Represent Me Who's Really On My Side/Civil Matter

I need to retain an attorney for a law suit in involving physical assault and personal injury, loss of income etc. I'm only asking for about 5-7k so I imagine it will be small claims court.

I don't know where to begin, how the process works and will pay cash for the consultation or retainer, of course.
