Always love this time of the year...when both baseball and football are going at the same time.....But this year a total reversal.....watch the Royals pennant race and live pitch by pitch like I did in the 70' and 80's....and NOW really could care less about the Chiefs

I was unhappy with off season with the Chiefs....I believe they got worse

The series beginning tonight is going to be very telling. But, if they make it to the playoffs, they MUST score more runs. They cannot expect to win any playoff games 1-0.

The Royals have been an entertaining team to watch this year. They have no megastar, like a Miggy or a Mike Trout, so you never know who is going to be the hero on any given night. It might be whoever is hitting in the 3 or 4 hole, or it could be someone at the bottom of the order, like Esky or Dyson. The starting pitching has been phenomenal and the back end of the bullpen has been "lights out". Of course, this series with the Tigers will be very telling. I believe the first game is extremely important, to set the tone for the entire series. The good news is that the K will be packed all weekend!!!

The Chiefs are just boring to watch and not a good football team. My pre-season prediction was 6-10, but I now believe that is a best case scenario. They are also a very arrogant organization who cares little about their fans.

Royals tweeted out this today......the three games this weekend are "standing room only."

KC must do well these three games as Detroit will prob do very well against Twins as their last of season games. Oakland & Seattle will also probably do well against their remaining opponents. Thus, a struggle for wildcard as well as division.
Vegas slighty favors Detroit. Tonight by less than one run.

Ok back to baseball.....The Tigers from the schedule appears to have the easier road as they play the Minnesota Twinkies and the Royals have to play Cleveland.

Seattle also has to play La Angels quite a few times which aint easy....

If it ended today...Oakland come to Kc for I believe a one game playoff

The winner would have to face the Angels....I dont like that
