has any one ever had any kind of relationship with a provider outside the hobby meaning trying to build relationships with a provider and see where that leads

DON'T DO IT. It will end in tears. Life is hard enough having a normal relationship. Having to share the woman that loves you can be stressful to both of you.

If love finds you, then do what makes you both happy (the heart wants what it wants). Don't go looking for love on this board. You will be very dissapointed.

I think that it can be quite difficult.

Akin to three dimensional chess when you aren't even good at two dimensional chess.

There are those that are successful in polyamorous relationships, the majority of us are here because we aren't even successful in one. Providers and hobbiest alike.

jealousy is a huge factor. trust and communication should be at an all time high, but it's possible. providing is a job, sure its not flipping burgers at mickey d's for 7 bucks an hour, but it's still a job (and a very difficult one at that believe it or not) and if you're in a relationship with a provider the SO should understand that that's exactly what it is... a job.

esp. if the provider girlfriend is the one bringing home the dough! LOL

In my opinion, having a client fall in love with you and maintaining a long lasting real relationship not based on money is entirely different. I can speak from personal experience. I will never say that it OS an easy task or that it is common to accomplish it. But it is very possible. I accomplish it every day.

Sup Chii. When I first started, before eccie, I had the priviledge of meeting one of the best IMHO. It didn't work out. It wasn't her job or anything like that. Honestly, I think it would be the SHIT to be married to a porn star but that's just me. Guess i'm just freaky like that.

We are two very open minded people but we still have some struggles with it. But that is where the communication comes into play. If you ask any long term swingers they will tell you that in that lifestyle that is what is necessary.
