Donation Clarity
First, this isn't a "the donations are too damn high" thread. In fact as OP I say that kind of sentiment is specifically off topic. It also isn't aimed at anyone and isn't even a complaint, just some observations.
No one wants to talk about donations in texts or PMs. So it is in everyone's best interest to make them as clear as possible in those places where they can be specified, such as showcases and P411 profiles.
I occasionally see providers who seem to change their donation about as often as the fresh catch of the day. Usually this is newer ladies trying to figure out where to set their rate, I think, which is understandable (but confusing to clients). And even established ladies need to change sometimes. However, once someone is in my phone I'm not usually going back to their showcase every time I set something up with them. The last thing I'd ever do is intentionally short someone but I worry it will happen unintentionally at some point because a lady has changed and I missed it. I don't know what the answer is. It seems like changes are usually increases and I can understand not wanting to make an announcement about that, but I'm not sure ladies realize that existing clients simply might not see changes right away.
I appreciate ladies that state when they have multi-hour donations. I'm often interested in 2 hour appointments, and I don't like having to ask if there's' a multi hour rate, but I've had it happen before where none was listed and I donated 2x hourly, only to find out later that there really was a 2 hour rate. She just thought it was a really great tip. I should have asked - or better yet, if she listed it so it wasn't necessary to ask.
It also gets a little confusing when the rate is different on P411 and ECCIE (other than P411 discount, if applicable). I think that may just be a matter of changing it one place and forgetting to change the other.
Please don't consider this a rant, I don't intend it that way. And I hope it's clear that I make no statements here about what anyone's donation amount should be, just how it's communicated. It think would really help with clients' decision making process and also reduce the amount of uncomfortable text and PM questions about donations if it was all clearly laid out in the showcases/profiles. To be fair, many ladies already do a great job of this.

I've asked to clarify donations before, and have always gotten an answer.
I think it's a fair question to ask, especially when you see one rate in a provider's showcase, another in an ad, and still others in reviews. As a hobbyist, I like to know ahead of time what a provider expects as far as compensation for her time. However, I realize that a provider might be hesitant to answer that question, since there are guys out there who like to try to haggle or negotiate rates down below what a provider thinks is fair.

I agree it should be ok to ask, and most ladies don't seem to mind. I have on occasion had a negative reaction to asking about multi-hour because the lady is one that won't discuss such things in texts or PMs, so I tend to be a bit skittish about bringing it up. As JdeHog, mentioned, I'm also concerned about being perceived as a haggler if I bring it up, because I'm not one. I just want to know what the actual donation is so I can make my decisions with the right information.
I do think changing rates very frequently is problematic, though not common thankfully. I've watched one lady over the course of 2 weeks start at 300, increase to 350, go back to 300, and then up to 400 where it is currently. She can charge whatever she wants and guys will either embrace it or stay away but I wish it would stabilize it so we can make well-informed decisions. Donations bouncing all over the place makes it less likely I'll repeat.

Providers can run their business and their prices as they chose, if it bothers you so much just stay away like you have been, but I don't see it being an issue for a post. I talk to several girls in the hobby, and they fit specials as it fits their needs. I needed to run a special to pay for a veryyyy expensive project I'm working on, so each their own, it's our business and we can run it as we please. I don't see a girl running specials being a problem, but some guys will look at any and everything to pick on and make story books behind it...:/ I might run another special this week if I feel like it...beauty of the business, we do as we feel

I don't ever upsell, but I will offer specials sometimes, and my outcome with them has always been great so that's why I keep doing them. Every girl is going to do what works best for her and her business.

Yep Dillard's will soon be slashing prices on their summer clothes to make room for fall and winter items. Good deal.

Yes! That's when I can get my swimsuits for next year for the same prices of the ones in wal mart....
Have you ever been to Dillard's on New Years? It's crazy the specials you will find! I suggest anyone to go if you haven't, it's worth it!

I was afraid it might be taken this way, but I didn't mean it any way except I'd just like to know what the base (not special) rate is on a somewhat consistent basis. No offense was intended, but I can't help if it was taken. I certainly agree that providers can run their business any way they like and I can stay away if it isn't agreeable to me. I don't understand why it would be a problem to post an opinion about something in the hobby on a board called escort client community information exchange, however.
Totally on board that ladies can run specials or whatever they want and I don't think I suggested otherwise. It's rapid fluctuation in the apparent base rate I'm talking about. Maybe ladies doing that feel like they are running specials doing it that way but from a client perspective it doesn't feel like that, it feels like confusion if a special isn't stated as such.

I was just stating why I disagree, I had a guy tell me it wasn't fair that I offered my special for two days this past week. Well, life isn't fair and if I want to do a special for a couple days it shouldn't be taken wrong, and good businesses that I visit will offer discounts for repeat customers or new ones...and I always go back...that's dosnt mean the service I was buying was any less of service because it was 25% off, I just got a good one time deal and I'm happy and they're happy

I can agree with that, there's no reason to get upset at anyone for running a special, which by their nature are limited time offers. Pay attention and act quickly or miss out, I agree.
My point was not about specials at all, but rapid fluctuations in the base rate. Maybe it's just a difference in the way escorts and clients look at it. Not to say either way is wrong, but I think it can have some unintended effects if a lady is trying to build regulars and they don't know from one week to the next what it's going to cost them to spend some time with her - notwithstanding the occasional special. It does tend to make me favor other options where I know where I stand. An established lady may well be and probably is OK with that, if she's aware of it, but I think some newer ladies that are just trying things out to establish their base market value may not be. But who knows, really. As you say, they can do whatever they want, and they will learn over time what works for them.

If they're new and don't keep it at a set price, then I can see it be an issue for sure. Upselling is never okay and if a girl is new and her prices keep going up and down that would make me question things for sure. That's is not good business and I doubt in the long run that will work, unless she's a drop dead beautiful lady, I've seen some guys fall for some pretty fine ladies, & no matter what the lady did to them, they still paid and made excuses for her..
