Default how do I respond?

Staff,

When I receive a private message and wish to reply, I click on reply but the message still shows in the box.

There's not a blank box to respond in...........
Frustrating

big steve,

The way I do it is to click reply, scroll down to the message and enter your reply either above or below the message. My personal preference is above so the latest is first, but many newsgroups will flame you for that. This one is more "preference friendly".

You can snip out any unnecessary text, or leave it there. Your choice. If you want a blank box, you can delete it all, but the recipient will only have the subject as a reminder of what the PM is about.

Happy PMing.
