Giving a second chance and then getting screwed over again

As many of you know, I'm generally a nice person. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I like working with people overall.

I have recently given someone a second chance after a ncns, and once again he did it again.

I'm very disappointed by this, as I have been in this business for nearly ten years and I can count on one hand the number of times this has happened to me.

What is so hard about cancelling? Just shooting a text to say, sorry, I can't make it.

I'm a full time college student doing this on my winter break, just trying to get a car to get me back and forth to school everyday.

But fellas, it's not that hard when you have already communicated with a lady earlier in the day, even making requests of them, to follow through, or let them know that your plans have changed.

I don't start threads on here often, nor do I participate in the drama of the boards any more. I'm too old for that shit. I do want to say that I am disappointed in the way things have turned out since I've come back into the hobby this break. The guys are not as polite (except you old timers) and there is not as much respect given to the women who do this job for you men.

We do a lot just to prepare to see you guys, that you should at least have the decency to let us know that you are not going to be coming to see us.

harry.123 and I'll be letting his references know that he did this to me twice.

His first excuse was reputable...his boss came in and he couldn't get to his phone, and he messaged me and let me know he was sorry about an hour after the appointment time. Now it's nearly three hours after, and nothing.

He confirmed with me mid-day today and let me know to wear a short black dress...which I did let him know I had, and not a peep before the appointment.

I put another client off to see him, since he was already booked. I don't double book clients. (That's probably a whole other thread on the guy's end).

I totally respect my clients and their time. I appreciate their attention to spend their time with me and that they chose me out of all the girls that they could spend time with. I appreciate all the positive reviews that are out on me. (Heck, I even got one saying I'm 180 lbs! Hell yeah!).
Seriously, my clients rock.

This guy on the other hand. JUST PICK UP YOUR PHONE AND TEXT A COUPLE OF WORDS.

That's all I cared to know. That you couldn't make it. I even let him know 15 min before the appointment that if he couldn't make it, that he needed to let me know or I would put him on blast.

He texted me yesterday at 4pm asking if he could see me today at 3pm. I am GLAD I did not respond.

Interesting tid bit SP. Thanks tntangie for the share and sorry for the bs he dealt you. It has changed a lot around here. But then again it's everywhere, people being mean and disrespectful in everyday life... I hate watching the news, it's awful.

Sorry it happened. As much as guys complain when it happens to them, you would think they would know better. Of course, there will be a few replies saying basicly now you know how guy's feel as if that somehow makes OK this happened at all. Its not right to not communicate with the other party as soon as possible, even if circumstances mean that is days later.

it was nice you gave him a 2ed chance. Hopefully he has a very good, legitimate reason for not showing or communicating. But I can imagine a 3rd chance would take a really great story.

Told me the same story today, and did NCNS more than one time today. Sorry, but I am upset he did the same thing and booking me at the same time as others.
