RON PAUL; GOOD THING HE RETIRED....
What a creep...........
This was tweeted a few moments ago on Ron Paul’s official account:
"Chris Kyle's death seems to confirm that "he who lives by the sword dies by the sword." Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn't make sense"

Oops, you got the link.
I saw almost that identical quote attributed to a bunch of liberal bloggers on some news site.
Ron Paul should be ashamed. The SEAL was performing his duty. The policy behind it is not his fault. The blame there belongs to politicians, not the individual service members.

I think it was a stupid thing to say.
Just because you live by the sword does not mean that is how you will die.
Just as being a peaceful man does not mean you will die a peaceful death.
I love where Borat tried to hit on Ron Paul in that movie! Damn that was funny!

It is worse than stupid...Old Man Paul is using the death to prove his anti-war stance !
It is disgusting and shameful.
Ron Paul did nothing of consequence to stop the war...I didn't see him in the streets protesting, getting arrested. and the ohter kinds of anti war actions that others, more noble people took. He risked nothing to end the war....yet he makes snide remarks about the death of someone who risked it all by serving.
In fact one could argue, as the war raged, Ron Paul became wealthier, richer and more celebrated because of the war. The war fed his ego and his pocketbook.

Ron Paul explains. From his Facebook page.
As a veteran, I certainly recognize that this weekend's violence and killing of Chris Kyle were a tragic and sad event. My condolences and prayers go out to Mr. Kyle’s family. Unconstitutional and unnecessary wars have endless unintended consequences. A policy of non-violence, as Christ preached, would have prevented this and similar tragedies. -REP
He would have been a TERRIFIC President!

Complete disingenuous bullshit; Paul made a mistake, a hurtful mistake, he should have admitted to it....but his fucking ego is bigger than Texas and he won't....thank god his candidacy only had legs with the Tin Foil Hat crowd !
Unlike a lot of politicians who fade away; Paul will NOT be missed.

As per usual with politicians, I'm convinced the original sentiment he expressed is his true opinion, his day-after apology notwithstanding.
Come on, COG, it appears we're simpatico on most issues, but you've got to know that this guy is crazy as a March hare. He'd be an even bigger embarrassment than O'Blunder!!??!!
