This is another one of those FACTS that if tweeted or announced it would be used to assert "he was just trying to cover his racist ass" (not my words ... the paraphrase of the Liberal rants) and thereby marginalize the appointment of a deserving Black person who would be maligned and ridiculed for agreeing to accept the appointment when he deserves to be respected and honored for being offered the job.
