So, an exhaustive study came out about a month ago. It says the average penis size (length) of the male (All races included) in the USA is, as stated above, 5.3 inches.

The Kinnsey study in the 70's was completely bogus which stated the average cock length was something like 6.5 inches. The problem was they were testing and measuring volunteers of which many were '70's porn stars. Hence the problem, a male feels like their cock has to be at least 6 inches to be considered worthy, however, most units are not 6 inches.

Almost everything about Kinsey's research was shit. That tends to happen when the founding researcher starts out trying to prove his own behaviors are normal, and then uses an intentionally skewed dataset to prove his point (largely gay men and men in prison). The institute never really got any better as research went, and never really owned up to the extent of the flaws in their research. The fact they are still respected is amazing.

Most penis size studies were flawed because if you rely on volunteers you are going to rely on men willing to show their penis to strangers, which skews to men who are comfortable with their size, for obvious reasons. One of the few volunteer studies that came up with close to realistic results was one that used college men on spring break, and it worked only because of the combination of alcohol and peer pressure.

I'm no expert on penis size personally, but I do know what I have been told by enough women to know that the 5.3 number sounds reasonable. Personally, other than mine I only see dicks in porn so I haven't got a good frame of reference.
