Anyone else notice that providers (or clients) are coming up in the "People You May Know" section? I get that all the time. At least one of the providers I used to see has been retired for a few years, but there she is on my Facebook page. I have even seen people come up from bp ads that I have contacted, but have never met. I imagine providers see this all the time.

If you have the number in your contacts they can show up in people you know. I don't link my number to FB and don't have the FB app or FB messenger for this reason.

Email. A reply on Backpage will go to/from your actual email. The address then shows up in you email and Facebook picks it up.

Yeah I don't Facebook, Twitter, snapchat, tumblr... I have empty made up accounts I use for screening and i always clear the search history before signing out. The dating sites and profiles are all escorting and modeling pics with profiles like "gifts, money, getting pampered, gift cards, Gentlemen, traveling.... " in my interests. A rose by any other name...

We are tracked like animals now.

I no longer have a personal facebook, shut it down almost two years ago. Faceboook is a tracking beast.

Yeah, she was "away" a while for sure lmfao. I think other sites disabled her accounts. *sigh* sad situation.

Yikes @ Amber and eggs85 ... that's a fear of mine and why I haven't even attempted to created a Twitter or SnapChat or IG for P4P. Every once in a while i'm tempted but haven't yet tried to mix social media with the hobby.
