Your Secretary of Defense goes MIA and you the so called
“Leader” of the free world is in the dark for over 3 days. You still think Biden isn’t a clown? The SOD, Austin, is 6 in line for the Presidency. One Democrat said he might have had a lapse in memory. Gee, ain’t that comforting.
Please God carry us till we get those clowns out of the WH!

... Me Political "insiders" are staying quiet about this one.
Surely might be more than meets the eye with Austin.
Let's give it a few more days to play-out.

As most things that perpetrate from the Biden White House it has a dead fish smell. If the White House is lying about not knowing, I am not sure which is worse, the lying or the not knowing. It is pathetic that such a great country and we settle for an incompetent like Joe.

Apparently Austin had a Medical procedure he was released then was experiencing pain and ended up in ICU for further treatment. No further details.

As more info came out about this, it6 began to sound more and more like a novel.
The President is sleeping on the beach in St Croix. The Sec-Def is out for something routine but gets sent to the ICU in an ambulance. No one is informed because his Deputy Sec-Def is on vacation . . .and now I am hearing that his chief of staff was out with the flue.
This is all probably just a "Bureaucratic SNAFU", to quote President Clinton, but somehow it feels not right to me.
We till do not know what the "routine" procedure was or what the complicastion was.

Lapse in memory??
You have to actually have a memory for there to be a lapse.

Mockery is easy.
This is sad. The treatment Mr. Biden receives from his close circle is an abusive tragedy.
I have a close friend from high school who has been diagnosed with a progressive memory loss condition. He was validictorien and worked for IBM for thirty-plus years. Lately, when we talk on the phone, we have the same conversation every five minutes or so.
Making fun of Mr. Biden is just too easy.
By all means, vote your heart and conscience in whatever way you are called to, but have some compassion for him as an elderly man.

What in the wide wide world of sports does your medical assessment of President Biden have to do with Austin’s surgery, ICU812?
Don’t know what type of medical professional you are, but with insight like that, you’re wasting your time here on ECCIE! You ought to be curing cancer or something.
Sorry you’re so sad, but save some of your sorrow for the next four years, OK?
Please return to the topic of this thread which was an angry rant by oildfieldace. If you don’t have something angry and abusive to add, please start your own rant.
President Biden doesn’t need your pity.

It means there's more than one frightening gap in the chain of command.

The country sure as hell needs a more competent DOD and a functioning Defense Secretary.
