So Bush did this tons of times....its not the first time a Predator drone goes ape shit. Before the invasion of Iraq we were sending them in and a few of them got shot.

Still, he brings up an interesting point, which I have not been able to verify. But if President Obama had the ability to either retrieve or destroy the drone, why didn't he? A lot of our technology will end up in enemy hands as a result of losing this drone.
So I guess my first question is, did President Obama have the ability to retrieve or destroy this drone? If the answer is no, then it makes no difference. If the answer is yes, I'd like to know why he didn't.
Like I said, I heard he was able to either retrieve or destroy the drone, but I haven't been able to verify it. If any of you know, please share.

The drone should have been destroyed (I can't elaborate on specifics). A cruise missile or two would have done the job.

I was hoping that perhaps President Obama hadn't screwed up again, but it appears that he has. Then I watch the Republican debate, and realize there is no hope.
Forget the election, let's just invite some ladies over and have some beer.

You do realize just how friggin' stupid you sound. So you want the US to send in a military team to retrieve the drone and risk all out war with Iran. Really?
I guess you forgot about Bush and Chaney exposing a CIA agent and doing serious damage our intelligence network when exposed an agent because her husband happened to disagree with them. Why don't you talk about that.

Obama did the only right thing possible.
The CIA should be a bit more careful when they spy on countries and make sure nothing can go wrong or make their stuff self destroying.

The drone could have easily been destroyed covertly without starting a war! If you follow the news you would know we already have covert operations going on within their nuclear industry.

I don't think we'd be risking all out war with Iran by protecting our secrets. It will be worse for us with the drone in their possession than if we destroyed it.
