Senator Jeff Flake cut a deal with the Democrats to vote against Kavanaugh unless the FBI is allowed a one week investigation, supposedly to cover only those items an accusations on record with the Senate at this time.

That seems fair, although it does justify DiFi's scheme to keep Dr Fords letter secret untill the final moment. I doubt the other Dems will go for just one week, because that goes against the purpose of delaying tactics in the first place.

We will see.

How is it "Fair", when IF FEINSTEN and the rest had pushed for the FBI to do this 1 week investigation, BEFORE THE HEARINGS even started, it would have already been over?
And how is it fair, for 10 democrats to 'corral' one GOP member, in a small room, to "Convince" him of their side'? How do we know he wasn't badgered/bullied/blackmailed??

The biggest problem with having the FBI investigation is that it just gives the Dems more time to bring other unreliable witnesses forward (i.e. Kavanaugh was trafficking girls through Backpage). And at the end of the day, an FBI investigation isn't going to change the vote of a single Democrat.
