This was done during " illegal late-term abortions". As opposed to performed legal abortions which the vast majority of abortions are.

He broke the law, he has to pay the price.

And there is a difference for those who think there isn't between a person (a baby) and a fetus.

One can be aborted and the other can't.

One can be murdered and the other can't (except in certain circumstances involving murder of the mother or some such in some states).

These were babies born alive that many of you on here thought deserved to be killed, simply because their mother wanted them dead. When they were born alive, many of you stated that they still should be killed, with no liability on the doctor, or anyone else.

A jury got it right. Good for them. This was NEVER about the right to get a legal abortion. It was ALWAYS about whether it is ok to kill living, breathing babies in certain circumstances. At least one group of twelve thought it was NOT ok. God Bless them!
