No quit in Angulo, but not enough ability....and that's how fighters die in the ring. The booing at the end wasn't about the stoppage; it was about the mismatch. It's time for Angulo to quit...he wouldn't get out a winner (lost 4 of his last 6), but at least he would get out alive...and possibly with a little residual brain function left.

Thanks. I got nothing bad to say about Angulo...he's one lion-hearted little sumbitch. I'm sure he entered the ring expecting to win. The fault was with Golden Boy matchmaker(s)...they had to have known better. Could their judgment have been swayed by the fact they also manage Canelo? Just wondering.

The Kirkland fight could be a great one...at least they have different promoters. Kirkland had great success with a woman trainer but for some reason he fired her and hired Fiddy's man, Gerald Tucker. I think that might backfire on him...we'll see...but he appears to be more interested in getting Suge out than in preparing for this fight. The whole deal in Kirkland's corner will be a big fat IF; in another day the cautionary tale brokedown pugs gave promising young up-and-comers was beware the jerk who made his money manufacturing dildos in China and now he's got a sponge in a bucket and a towel over his shoulder and VOILA! he's a boxing promoter! So I guess the dildo factory man has morphed into the "rap artist" wannabe boxing promoter. Now those shitbirds WILL get a fighter killed, and could care less.

This fight is tailor made for Canelo, and opponent with no lateral movement or real 'boxing' skill.

For real though, I don't see any chance for kirkland. He hasn't fought, his mind is elsewhere, and most of all, he doesn't have Anne in his corner. I don't know why he doesn't, but it's a recipe for disaster.
