Being relatively new to hobbying and fairly active over the past 3 months, I would like to ask the group a question.

I own several companies and most of my jobs are bid or price negotiations. I have never tried to negotiate price for services with providers. Several providers who I have become friends with who post ads, and may wait days for someone to call. I know most ladies feel their fee is justified, and who am I to argue.

My question is... If a provider has a $$$ fee, and I only have $$ to spend, or that I am willing to spend, Is it appropriate to ask the provider if they would be interested in contracting for $$ rather than $$$. I mean if I shy away from someone who is more expensive than my budget, and they really need to make the car payment, wouldn't it be to everyones benefit to negotiate?

From the providers standpoint all they would need to say is "No Thank You, but thanks for the offer".

I actually tried this. The fee was $350, I asked if she would to a special for $250 and she said sure. Worked well for both of us.

I also think that if you are advertising a "Special" it shouldn't be your posted normal rate, and should advise what the special is.

In great part, how you ask is key. If your a regular to some degree, something like "I really would like to see you but my budget is limited to $200 right now. I know it's not your normal rate but do you think we could work out a shorter time maybe? " if your respectful and don't ask for an actual discount, I would think most ladies would work something out with an existing customer. If not, post in ISO and see how many are willing to work with your budget.

Yeah @old is right we do a lot for our regulars, I actually drop my rate when a gentleman becomes my regular but what we don't like are the men looking for a one time deal. And if a girl does take the lower offer she might not give her all.

Buffo69, u might get an unwanted reputation for being a "Haggler" with the ladies so it might be something to think about.

Buff, with multiple businesses you're likely pretty solvent.

Another way to look at it is being you're relatively new you haven't had the time to establish some regulars. Often as time goes on ladies change their rates to keep up with inflation and in many cases, regulars get grand fathered at their original rate.

During my time in the hobby I've had several girls tell me seeing regulars is much more preferred for a variety of reasons and they gleefully offer deals to them kinda like what baby says above..

Works both ways. I do things for regulars I wouldn't normally offer a one time lady - trips, Christmas bonuses, her: " My nails look awful " - me: " you got time to go to the salon, it's on me ", gambling money if we visit a casino, etc. Hell, bought one half a car the other day and she's golden in the payback ( not recommended, it just works sometimes ).

So, my comment is to get someone or a few you mesh with and let the relationship(s) grow wings!

If you are someone i have not seen before i might find it offensive... If you are a regular friend that i have spent time with already then i would be way more likely to accept your offer.

I wanted to see a lady that I did not see because at the time my little head took control, the amount of cash I had access to was less than her posted fee.


Why would a provider give less than stellar service if she accepted the appointment?

The initial contact is usually full price. If you become a regular, e.g. 2 to 4 times a month, not once every 6 months, then discounts can be discussed. If she likes seeing you, things get better over time. No hassles, no games.

So when I try to haggle and Jules points to the door saying don't let the knob hit my taint(thats for you pyramider) on the way out, it's ok for me to say, "Buff069 said it's ok so what's the problem?"

+ you always have to tip the ladies, especially if they did you right. this will go a long way in the long run. i always tip, especially if they were quite energetic and go the extra mile. usually my tip is one benjamin.
