What's the worst / best/ dumbest excuse you hav had for a NCNS?

I had a real excuse I had to work late and tried to make the appointment for later but got bitched out and she wanting to charge me for calling to change the time. Hey I called 2 hours before the appointment. I said hell no I`ll pass on you (she is kinda nutty).

I don't remember them all but if anyone cancels on me it's an automatic disqualification from seeing me ever down the road. Excuses are excuses and I don't believe any single one of them. If they are going to make an apt just like a doctors or dentist apt then they should keep it unless they end up in the hospital. Biggest pet peeve ever!

Worst: He had to go to the doctor for toe fungus. (Happy he did that instead of sharing something with my Fancy footsies. YUK!)

Best: My pussy got wired shut. (His cat had an accident and had to have her jaw wired in place, poor kitty. He did later take me out for a cat's meow evening to make up for it.)

Dumbest: I lost your address and forgot your number. (Explained in an email the next day. Like I haven't got my cell phone plastered all over the Web? Could have Googled me on his phone and called, but that would have required effort, and a brain.)

She decided to buy a car. Common, I scheduled the day just before. Who wakes up and says, "I am going to go buy a car today." Don't most people contemplate such a buying decision for a while? And, even if not, she can't at least call and cancel?

My NCNS was a half-NCNS. She called the next morning after the NCNS (location: Triad area, North Carolina) and then apologized. She was honest and stated "she had a late night partying with some old girlfriends" and "did too much nose candy" and was still up.

We re-scheduled for day four of my conference, and she more than made up for the day 1 NCNS. She wanted to do it that night of her call, but I gathered the young lady wanted a break.

Wow must be really great to live life "never" having been late, forgotten anything, encountering the unexpected, car or freeway traffic or breakdowns, family emergencies or work conflicts never expected and last minute in nature. I want to live the JM lifestyle!

Most of the time it is a lame excuse. Unless the show me a picture of their wrecked car I wouldn't believe them at all.

Well.... I have to respectfully disagree with that hard-line stance..... shit happens ALL the time..... I am a firm believer in that..... Depends on the person, and their rep as to if they get another shot..... but I'm not a broad stroke kinda dude either..... Every rule has an exception...... So long as its a cancellation and not a complete NCNS that is......

If I have heard "I was sleeping" once after a NCNS..... I have heard it 100 times...... even after a confirmation call/email/text earlier in the day......
