What DOJ guidance has been published on the Immigration Sanctuary Cities and States?

How do the states that have legalized mamajuana get by the existing Federal drug laws?

Aren't these all the same thing?

Is this not the old State's Rights versus Federal legislation conflict?

I thought this had been settled at Appomattox in 1865. Then really settled by several amendments to the Constitution.

It’s pretty simple, about 2 weeks ago Missouri passed and was signed by the governor the “2nd Amendment Preservation Act”. It simply states that if the Federal Govt. passes any laws which violate Missouri citizens 2nd Amendment rights, local law enforcement cannot assist federal law enforcement in enforcing those laws.


Almost immediately Garland (who is supposed to be non-partisan) sent a letter to Missouri Governor stating Federal law was supreme and over rides state law.


REALLY? Has he sent letters to “sanctuary cities” who do not support ICE efforts?


Or better yet, states that have passed laws legalizing marijuana. The use, sale, and possession of cannabis in the United States, despite laws in many states permitting it under various circumstances, is illegal under federal law.
