Religion and sex have been in bed with each other for a few thousand years.

Once upon a couple decades ago..
One of the over 20 yr old gals in someone's philosophy class presented a paper on the Greek Goddess Hedone. Within a week she had three invites to join different sororities even though she was a transfer in the early part of her jr yr.

Twice I’ve seen news pieces where in Japan a section of the country worships the penis! Don’t remember if Buddhism was mentioned, but reading this it prolly was/is.

Being associated with Buddhism is a good clue genital worship has been around a while!! And for obvious reasons isn’t brought up too often in the West! Sex tourists would be everywhere!
