Obama has held more re-election fundraisers than previous five Presidents combined as he visits key swing states on 'permanent campaign'

Doherty, who has compiled statistics about presidential travel and fundraising going back to President Jimmy Carter in 1977, found that Obama had held 104 fundraisers by March 6th this year, compared to 94 held by Presidents Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush Snr, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush combined.

Since then, Obama has held another 20 fundraisers, bringing his total to 124. Carter held four re-election fundraisers in the 1980 campaign, Reagan zero in 1984, Bush Snr 19 in 1992, Clinton 14 in 1996 and Bush Jnr 57 in 2004.

Having us pay for his campaign junkets is just his way of keeping his promise to support public funding of campaigns.

Good!! I hope he out-raises the Republicans 20:1! If the five Republicans on the Supreme Court are going to say money is speech under the First Amendment, then that's what we've got to do.

You didn't read the article did you? You better keep 'hoping'; after all, isn't that all your candidate is offering?

Hey can you take the number of fundraisers, figuring each took about a day including travel and all, plus the number of golf rounds, plus the number of vacations, plus the number of other junkets and total up the number of days then subtract from the number of days in office and get the total number of days he actually worked to fuck this nation up as bad as he has.

Damn good thing he hasnt been working much or we would really be in deep shit.

Never mind his attacks on liberty and consolidation of power. He doesn't pay attention to the Constitution, he won't pay attention to the Court.

I'm disappointed in his record on civil liberties, too. About the only thing that you can say about it is that it's better than the record of the Republicans.

Well, the Republicans and Democrats are working together to destroy liberty. We need rid of them both.
