Something I never understood ...and how you can't understand either... how some beautiful women will sleep with ugly, stinky men simply for a few benjamins or even thousands. I can't wrap my head around it, maybe because I'm so passionate about picking the right partner...

This may be less about intelligence and more about pride and ignorance... A truly beautiful and intelligent person can see the beauty and worth in others far beyond their physical appearances. Someone who lacks that ability is likely to compensate for it by focusing on the things that are more shallow and temporary (such as looks) as a means of ranking their mate/friends/associates. Unfortunately for that person, those things are pretty unsubstantial in the long run, so an attitude like that will result in long term happiness that is fleeting at best.
