Busting the Democrat Myth of the Koch Brothers
Interesting.
From the article:
Merely mention the monstrous Koch brothers and Democrats go berserk.
But what's the truth concerning the extent of the Koch's financial impact on elections?
On the website opensecrets.org, we find this list of Top All-Time Political Donors from 1989-2012. The top 100 donors are listed below. Note the contributions from unions.
Given all the noise from Democrats, we'd expect to see the Kochs in, at least, the top ten. Not there.
Or, the top 20

Read the article if you want the truth. If you don't want the truth, then just bash and call names.

Koch Interview at RNC
If you haven't seen it, you should -- it will confuse ALL parties!

Soros is clever. He doesn't donate to specific candidates much from what I've seen. Mostly to liberal causes like Tides Foundation or PBS.

Yeah, Soros and the Koch sponsor PBS for the same reasons. They both love those Ken Burns documentaries.

WHAT HORSE SHIT! Notice how COF has to use an obscure article written with the intent of showcasing NONE of the Citizens United trickery where the Kochs hide most of their contributions. Notice, too, how they have to "frame" the time period. It's a classic case of using statistics to LIE!
Why did you leave out Americans for Prosperity and a gazillion other right wing smear groups which are funded heavily by the Koch Brothers through their Claude R. Lambe Foundation and other institutions set up to simply disguise their giving?
And using the 1989 start? LMAO! Why would they need to make big bribes with Bush in office? How dishonest a poster you've become!
It's the way they make you think they are innocent bystanders.
COF, you and the rest of the Teapublicans here are LIARS.

You really need to get a clue. You call American Thinker obscure and you link to Sourcewatch. All you have to do is Google them and the results all list their left wing bias. Then you gripe about the years covered in COG's article but it covers 9 more years than your article from SW.

I'm sure they are, but apparently not as clever as Soros. At least in his ability to stay a little more under the radar. Or maybe they just don't care.
