Asian Massage Parlors

I thought I would this here and just see what comments it might bring up....

As I was reading the thread elsewhere on the Nebraska board about spas and massage parlor or whatever we're calling it these days, one thing struck me.

There seems to be such an incredible amount of hit and miss with that, yet guys will be going back again and again for the chance that something might happen.

Now, if something like this was going on with a provider and it was posted on here, I'm sure ( and I'm not saying the same people as posting on that thread) there would be outrage and plenty of heated discussion regarding expectations and pricing and menu and upselling....You get the picture.

So just why is that regarding spas and parlors? It's a crapshoot, it's a chance, yet so many seem to put up with it.

Hey, don't get me wrong. I love the idea of a massage parlor, and especially an Asian massage parlor. I've been to several in bigger cities than Omaha. But I did pretty much know what was up with them before going on, often thanks to a site such as eccie.

Any thoughts?

With the new place open in town, the massage is well worth the price of admission. If you get a HE, well that is just a bonus. I have been to certified massage places and paid the same and more, and the massages weren't as good as these ladies are providing. Just my thoughts.

I'm into good massages. The asians have a way with it that make any other massage seem ordinary or lackluster. The only thing that would make it better would be for them to include walking on the back, Thai style. Like SS mentioned, the HE is an added bonus should it happen. Hopefully a few more asian parlors open up which would inspire competition and eventually would bring the parlors up to standards in Dallas, Denver or any other major metropolitan area. Hopefully the Koreans decide to open one up because they will bring the "major" fun to the spa experience.

My trick to the new asian spa is to get the massage and see what happens. If a HE does not occur, I go get a hooker afterwards to round out the event. $70 for a great hour long massage and $100 for a quick romp with a hooker. It would be more convenent if it would happen in one place, but then I'm getting a better experience for $170 than what I was getting at the spas. At the spas, I was getting a very lame rubdown and maybe some head and tail, but it was also hit and miss and sometimes running as high as $250.
