U.S. Incomes Fell More In Recovery
Wasn't Obama supposed to be making things better? Then why are salaries lower during the "recovery" than they were during the "greatest recession since the Great Depression"?
Obama is incompetent and needs to be replaced.

With the high unemployment rate thrown in, it had to drive the medium income down. Remember the DEM's said that this is the new standard for unemployment.

But for those who decide how things are, things are better.
Our current state is not the result of incompetence.
Our current state is the result of very competent execution of a plan, a plan that doesn't have the prosperity of the middle class as an objective.

Cog,
This isn't Obama's doing. If you really get down to it the republicans have already admitted to obstruct anything and everything with regard to changes, policies, or anything that might improve things in this country. They want this country and its people to hurt and suffer.
Remember the 3 stooges and how they would go to a ladies house and plant mice and bugs in it to make it look infested? Then they would come knock on the door as pest control to the rescue? That is kinda how I view the republicans, make problems were there were not before, or make things worse so they can look like they are the ones who will come to this countries rescue and fix the problem (that they created in the first place).
How does anyone expect Obama to accomplish all that he can when he is dealing with such obstructionism?
The truth is he can't.

That can't be COG -- Debbie Wasserman Schultz claimed that since Odumbo took office he has added "millions of jobs in manufacturing."

Sensia, Obama had both the House and Senate for the first two years of his term. It was such a disaster that the Republicans were elect specifically to obstruct any more of Obama's plans to "save" us. Obama needs to read the will of the people, like Clinton did, and cooperate with the Republicans (it almost makes me gag to say that). Obama is doing the obstructing, not the Republicans.

dont tell COF the republicans filibustered everything the dems put on the table
oh wait, you already did
obstructionism is a big word and must have confused him
the Bush effect
Median household incomes down: 0.6% lower in 2007 than in 2000
- Men’s earnings down: 0.38% less in 2007 than in 1999
- Women’s earnings can’t keep up: continued upward swing but were unable to “overcome other drags on household income”
- More Americans in poverty: 5.7 million more people lived in poverty in 2007 than did in 2000
The Center for Policy and Budget Priorities notes, “never before on record has poverty been higher and median income for working-age households lower at the end of a multi-year economic expansion than at the beginning. The new data add to the mounting evidence that the gains from the 2001-2007 expansion were concentrated among high-income Americans.”
just sayin'

Why don't you blame the creators of the problems?
The corporations that outsourced millions of jobs to India, China, and other low cost countries?

The fact is, if Obama was seriously trying to improve the economy in his first two years, and was not succeeding because of recalcitrant Republicans, the Democrats would have swept the 2010 mid-term elections to give the President more freedom. That did not happen. The people were able to see the road Obama was leading us down, and didn't like it, so they voted in Republicans specifically to stop him.
Again, if Obama wants to move forward, he needs to quit obstructing. Clinton got slapped like that after his first two years in office, and he began to cooperate with the new Republican majority, instead of whining about them like Obama does. I think most of here will agree that the last six years of the Clinton administration were the best six years economically for the country in probably the last 50 or so.
Instead of listening to the people, Obama is listening to Valerie Jarrette, Rahm Emanuel, and other clowns telling him to stonewall and blame Republicans. We'll see how that works.
Obama's re-election is in doubt. Clinton's wasn't.
The only thing we learn from history is that we don't learn anything from history.
